Karmen Tripar | Website & Graphic Design – CREATIVERSIS 1

Hi Ladies, hope you are doing great 🙂

My name is Karmen and I’m from Istria, Croatia. I live there with my husband, 3-year-old daughter and a pug Tisa 🙂

I started my first company in 2012 with two of my friends, but in 2018 I decided it was time to try some new things on my own. And that is when CREATIVERSIS came to life.

I’ve been building websites for 18 years now (I built my first website when I was 15 years old). First, it was only a hobby but eventually became a full-time job. Now my purpose is to help small business owners and female entrepreneurs get their online (and offline) presence started by creating (and maintaining) websites, social media and print graphics, newsletter automation and so much more (you can take a look at creativersis.com to learn more).

I love using what I know to help people so in my free time I volunteer (virtually) for some nonprofit organizations around the world, and I’m also a member of Classy Living Society – a women’s volunteer organization from Atlanta (USA) where they are really passionate about giving back to the community and at the same time building, as they call it, sisterhood connections.

I don’t really consider myself “a blogger” since I’m not really good with words (I just love to talk, LOL), but in my line of work, you can’t go on without having and writing one, so here I am 🙂

Since I was the third one to introduce myself, I can comment on Lynne’s and Nicole’s introduction. And what can I say? Lynne is a truly inspiring woman and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this community. And Nicole is a person I can relate to because we have similar business interests and I really enjoy reading her blog 🙂

Ladies, thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me, and I hope we will engage in the forums some more 🙂

It is amazing to have you here Karmen, you fit the profile of the type of woman we are trying to attract here.

If us ladies all work together then we truly are unstoppable!

I find in general that I come across 2 types of women in business. The first type is the one that empowers other women and considers other women as her tribe… the other type is sees other women as competition, someone to stand on to get to the top. I know which type I want in my tribe.

I know that you are going to bring amazing things to this space and I am so excited to see it unfold!

Thank you for sharing some more about yourself!

I definitely love to help other women. And I surely don’t see them as competition. Because if you think about how many people there are in the world and how many businesses they own, there is really no need to be afraid of others. There is and always will be work for everyone.

Wow, Karmen… 18 years of building websites?

    That’s AMAZING!

You must have seen so many changes taking place in the online environment over the years – that means you started out having to learn to CODE, right? That must really set you apart from most website builders nowadays.

I have a LOT to learn from you. Looking forward to really digging deep into your posts over at Creativersis and getting to know you better. I’m just getting into email newsletter automation now and I’d love some tips.

Awesome that you’re also volunteering for Non-Profits, virtually. I’ve been the Public Officer for a Non-Profit, Physical Literacy for Children, for the last year.

Excited to be starting this journey with you.

    All the best

PS. How are you enjoying the 15-Day Challenge?

Yeah, 15 years ago there was no Wix, no WordPress, no Joomla. Back then websites were really basic with no special effects. And yes, if you wanted a website you had to code one. Sometimes I really miss those days. I feel like today there is no appreciation for the website design and development niche. Everyone can “drag” elements across the screen (no offense to anyone) and everyone calls themselves a web designer. But there is so much more to it. What if something breaks, can people style their websites without overcrowding the site with plugins… Yes, nowadays I use WordPress too, but because it’s easier for my clients, and I am all for using today’s technology to make it easier. But you need to know what you are doing in case something breaks. Anyhoo, yes I know my websites 😅

P.S., Of course, I still haven’t finished the 15 days 😂 I think my days are too short. But so far I like it and will definitely finish it because those guys really have good points.

I so loved reading your story, Karmen! Being in the same niche, we definitely share a passion.
I’m already loving your content and can’t wait to see what else you bring to the table.

Thank you so much, Nicole. I really appreciate that. I think I will learn so much in this group. It really is different than any other “engagement” group I’ve been a part of. Here I really take the time to read what people are posting so every time I learn something new.

You are such a lovely person, Karmen! Talented and generous with your skills. I can only say that I love you and admire you. I am blessed that we’re connected.

First website at 15? Genius. That’s what. Your clients obviously must adore you!
